Villar denies being PGMA’s ’secret candidate’

Nationalista Party standard bearer Senator Manuel Villar Jr. on Saturday denied that he was the “secret candidate” of the administration and that he met with First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo at the house of Mike Defensor on January 7, as contained in several text messages now circulating among the public.
“Hindi ko pa nakikita si First Gentleman at ang Presidente, hindi pa kami nag-uusap since na ako ay natanggal sa pagkapangulo ng Senado,” Villar told reporters before his speech at the national convention of Philippine Guardians Brotherhood Inc (PGBI) held at the Tarlac State University.
The text messages claimed that Villar agreed to a deal to help President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, who is running for representative of 2nd district of Pampanga, become House Speaker and to protect her from legal suits.
“Sobra talagang desperado yung mga taga-Liberal Party. Alam namin na sila ang nagkakalat niyan (These Liberal Party guys are truly desperate. We know they’re the ones spreading it.) We have our inside information that this came from their special operations team na kinakalat nila (that they’ve been spreading) through text messaging. There is absolutely no truth (to that),” he said.

that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

How can he deny, they have adopted the same style, that is to avoid senate investigations instead of facing up to the issues. Villar is not the president this country wants and dreams of. He cannot bring the closure to the ZTE, fertilizer and other scams our country cries for, for like his idol and benefactor, he himself has mastered the art of lies and deception.

Mr. Magkano(Manny V.) po will do all to become president even giving his soul just to become president of our country. Theres no such amount of money and power can satisfy his needs.
I just hope that the majority of the electorate will slap Villar by letting Noynoy win in big margin.Way of showing to the corrupt politicians that we have enough of lies and bad governance.

wala namang aaminin yan, kahit pa balatan ng buhay yan. ang tanong lang na sasagutin nyan ay kung magkano ang kikitain nya. granted na di siya totoong kandidato ni mike arroyo, kumusta naman ang laguna sojourn ngayon, si aling gloria mismo ang andito. coincidence again? yeah right, in the same manner na si padaca, baham mitra, mendoza ay prinotesta ever ng comelec. buti nga sa mga hakot mong tauhan from las pinas, sinigawan ng taga palengke ng calamba na mga bayaran. ‘yung mga driver ng trike, nagwave ng orang flag pero erap kami ang chant. ang fairness, trapik galore dahil ilang bus ‘yung dinala nya. ‘yun nga lang, nung naglabasan ‘yung mga mukhang ampatuan na tarps and posters nya, sinira ‘yung kay noy, itinira ang mukha ni joey lina, ‘yung iba, tinakpan ng mga stickers ng bayan muna.pareho lang kayong mukhang pera satur at liza.

Hi MM, Lenlen and Net, ang daming galit kay Sarah Geronimo!!! Am not really into this showbiz news. But I have read a lot of comments and I agree indeed about the principles and being naive to the current news is not an excuse. Grabe!!! Haayyy!
