Ramos calls ‘good move’ nephew’s move to Aquino camp
By Yolanda Sotelo – Inquirer Northern Luzon
In a statement, Braganza said he had asked permission from Ramos, his uncle, to join the LP and the former President gave his “blessings and smiled.”
“That is a good decision on your part,” Braganza quoted Ramos as telling him.
Braganza, together with other Pangasinan political leaders, took oaths as members of the LP during rites at the party headquarters in Quezon City on Friday.
Former Speaker Jose de Venecia Sr. said he saw the defections as a gesture of protest on the part of Lakas-CMD members in Pangasinan against the party’s merger with President Macapagal Arroyo’s political party, Kampi.
“The Pangasinan officials will strengthen the Liberal Party and the presidential and vice presidential bids of Senators Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas,” said De Venecia, one of the founders of Lakas who was ousted as Speaker after a falling out with Ms Arroyo.
"I am determined to continue the fight started by my father and my mother to see
that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

This is good news. Therefore, we look forward to a Noynoy Caravan that will transverse through NCR, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, La union Baguio, then back Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan and back to NCR. Baka mapuno ng tao ang National Road, I could just imagine.
How about kaya the Solid North ( Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Cagayan and Abra ), can we crack into this probable Erap-Villar-Teodoro stronghold?
Chavit is an original LP. But I am not sure if he’s worthy of wearing a yellow shirt. Guys, alam ba ninyo that my lolo sa mother side used to be the mayor of Tagudin, Ilocos Norte? Original LP. He lived and died an LP. Pinatanggal ni Marcos to favor Crisologo.

To Awie and Lenlen Valdez; My father is from Taltal, Masinloc, Zambales while my mom hails from Tagudin, Ilocos Sur. My grandfather is former mayor Gervacio Valencia.
Speaking of Villar; I have a question for you. What are the similarities between Villar and Bilyar?
Answer :
1.) Parehong nabubuhay sa maraming bola.
2.) Parehong mahilig sa under the table.
3.) Parehong NAGBABAYAD sa taga-ayos.
Remember yung news item regarding sa testimony nung former BIR director who testified on the pricing of Villar’s Lots ( relative to the C-5 controversy ). Well, this is a classic example kung paano inayos ni VILLAR ang media.
What was written in the newspaper is that inabsolve ng former director si Villar by saying na tama ang presyong P30,000 per Sq.Meter na binayaran ng gobyerno kay Villar sa Right of Way. Period. End of news item.
What was not written is the fact that the same fellow confirmed that adjacent lots were being sold at P4,000-P10,000 per Sq. Meter only. That she was almost held in contempt and that her reason for pricing the said lot that high is totally absurd.

Oh, by the way. One of the campaign gimmicks of Villar is sponsoring Billiard Tournaments. Mabibigat ang sumasali like Bata reyes, Bustamante, etc.

Hi, Engr. Jojo, Don’t u know that according to a study, male speaks an average of 25,000 words a day while female speaks 50,000 words a day. That explains everything.
But on second thought, toxic material yun baka naman magkasala tayo sa kalikasan. By the way, if an average male speaks an average of 25,000 words a day. Villar speaks far more that with his average of 25 political advertisements on TV a day. Each commercial costs P350,000 per 30-second commercial. This translate to P8,750,000 a day or P262,500,000 a month. Even with 30% discount which TV stations normally give as freebies or dagdag, that is still P183,750,000 a month. Eh, nung last year pa ito nagko-commercial. Assuming 18 months na, easily that is already P3,307,500,000!!! If this is the trend, Villar will probably spend around 10 Billion in this election!!! Grabe na to.

Excuse me? Meron akong listahan ng mga columnista na “make my day” at “kill my day” – nasa top 10 siya don sa “kill” day. Why do I read her and her kind? Just to know what and how the enemy thinks, at ang bi-effect don eh mas lumalakas ang paniniwala ko sa misyon nina Noy at Mar. Meron din “comment” portion si Bruhilda kaya I hope Hustisya will go there with guns ablazing and really do “justice” to this person with a poisonous pen. Envelopmental journalism, yun lang.
