Pulse Asia survey biased?
By: Jester P. Manalastas – People’s Journal
ADMINISTRATION lawmakers yesterday slammed the latest survey by Pulse Asia for allegedly showing bias to a particular candidate.
They said it is very obvious that the survey question is against Lakas-Kampi-CMD presidential candidate Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro and aimed at setting a trend in favor of Liberal Party’s Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino.
According to the survey, 79 percent of the respondents said they will not support the candidate endorsed by President Macapagal-Arroyo.
Isabela Rep. Rodolfo Albano III said the survey aims to discredit the administration candidate. He said the results of the survey could be arrived depending on how the questions were formulated.
“Why include President Arroyo when she is not seeking any higher position? Some quarters are now afraid of Teodoro because his rating is going up with his intelligent performance in various presidential debates,” Albano said.
Zambales Rep. Mitos Magsaysay said the administration candidate cannot expect fair results from Pulse Asia because it is reportedly being controlled by Rapa Lopa, a close relative of the Aquinos.
“I think it puts a cloud of doubt in the surveys conducted by Pulse Asia, if it is true that Pulse Asia is controlled by Rapa Lopa, who is Noynoy’s first cousin. This fact should be exposed to the general public as results can now be rigged to Noynoy’s favor,” Magsaysay said.
She said Teodoro does not need any endorser because “Gibo is his best endorser as he is intelligent, articulate, accomplished and his integrity is unquestionable.”
Quezon Rep. Danilo Suarez meanwhile said Pulse Asia, being a profit-oriented organization, puts questions on its credibility.
Marikina City Rep. Marcy Teodoro said it would be unfair to use survey results as a “political and electoral assassination of 2010 candidates and endorsers.”
"I am determined to continue the fight started by my father and my mother to see
that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

Hi Hustisya, here we are again. Back to blame Noynoy!!! Now even in Pulse Asia!!!
Thank you by the way for the ha-ha-ha! am really laughing about tonyp.
I remember about your allegation about the Ampatuan at the end they might blame Noynoy for the Maguindanao Massacre.
11.) They will blame Noynoy of this heinous crime by claiming that all the victims of the Maguindanao Massacre were farmers of Hacienda Luisita —99%
juskupu naman!!!!

Yes, Awie. They are starting to blame Noynoy na nga for Ondoy Disaster, eh. Kung di raw nag-usap si Erap and Nonoy during Ondoy, hindi raw magkakaroon ng bagyong Pepeng.
This is at the height of absurdity. Hindi naman huminto ang galaw at pag-uusap ng LAHAT ng tao during Ondoy. Why single out yung pag-uusap ni Noynoy and Erap?

Hi Jaljr I think Pulse Asia is already existing since 2006. Since then business/political/socio economics/cultural issues acknowledged their expertise to serve the public interest in democratic governance in the interest of the Filipino public.
I can not remember any issue complaint against Pulse Asia within 3 years. In fact they always look-up and welcome the results of their nationwide surveys.
It is only now, see?
