On my way to pick up my daughter at UST and while coursing along a narrow street, I saw a brood of 6 or 7 sleeping at the sidewalk 2 in the afternoon. They were not sleeping still because they stayed awake the night before. No. THey were still sleeping at that time because they did not take their breakfast and lunch that day and they would just want to "sleep" their hunger away. I bought some food for them from a nearby grocery and when I got to talk to them, I learned that there seldom a day that they have something in their stomach. If this is prevalent in Metro Manila, how much more in the provinces. Ang dahilan ng lahat nang ito ay ang SIPAG at TIYAGA ng mga nasa gobyerno.
