"I am determined to continue the fight started by my father and my mother to see
that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

@naive go ahead, you have the freedom to travel, thanks to People Power led by Cory Aquino
@gian…I think you have the best post here. I am voting for Noynoy mainly because of character. The most revered presidents we have, Magsaysay and Cory Aquino, are men and women of integrity and good character. And sa akin, yun ang pinaka-importante. Everything will follow.
If Noynoy turns out to be incompetent. I’ll take it. But what I cannot forgive and will not condone is a president who turns out to be a thug, a cheater, a stealer and a liar.

Naive, you do sound like your screen name… There are millions of Filipinos lives or work in every part of the world, but they only have one “dream”. And that “dream” is to see our Mother Country regains back her supremacy among Asian neighbors, and become a nation that we can be proud of, wherever we may be. And I am proud to be a filipino whatsoever… If you’re not proud of your “origin”, then no one is holding you back… You have the freedom to flee… But remember, if you do, you’re gonna leave your families, relatives and friends behind since you cannot take them with you. And it is in your concience to see them living in a country under Villar’s government because for sure, you will find them swimming in a filthy garbage… For once I will say this “Vote for NoyNoy”, and our country will cease to be the number three corrupt country in the world… If you don’t, we respect your decision… Good luck to you!

i was rooting for noynoy before like all of you guys. xmpre, he came from a popular family, mukhang mabait at mukhang di corrupt.

but after i made my research with presidential profile, para akong sinampal ng profile ni Mr. Gordon. Solid ang mga naipasa nyang batas, ung experience nya as an executive and legislative is very convincing. Isa din ako sa masusing tiga subaybay ng presidential forum, and guys, admit it or not, sya ang pinakamagaling, powerful at may sense. Love ko pa din si noynoy pero i have to follow my conscience to vote for the most competent candidate..
after 6 years cguro pag kumandidato ulit c noy, i might vote for him…,

I congratulate you Link for opening your mind. We need more guys like you that understand we must separate our love and devotion to the parents of noynoy from choosing the next leader for our country.
I agree with you that Noynoy should earn the respect of our people first, then we will vote for him next time

KARAKTER AT MORALIDAD ANG KAILANGAN NG BAYAN NATIN LALO NA NGAYON. LAHAT SILANG PRESIDENTIABLES MAYROONG RING CONMPETENCE AT EXPERIENCE NA CHARACTERISTICS PERO ISA LANG SA KANILA ANG MAYROONG KARAKTER AT MORALIDAD WHICH GOES HAND-IN-HAND. KARAKTER NA MAPAGKAKATIWALAAN NG TAUMBAYAN. NA DI ITATAGO O IIILAG ANG MGA TESTIGO PARA ITAGO ANG KATOTOHANAN (E.O. 464) SA FG’S & ABALOS’ NBN-ZTE, JOCJOC’S FERTILIZER, YAP’S SWINE LOANS, NA GAGAMITIN MGA GARCIS, LINTANG BEDOLS, PUNO’S, ESPERONS, ET AL PARA MANDADAYA SA ELEKSYON. MORALIDAD BAGO LEGALIDAD O MORAL VALUES OVER LEGAL COVER.
