Noynoy’s only foe is massive cheating
Aquino, Roxas eye ‘big win’
By Gil C. Cabacungan Jr., Philippine Daily Inquirer
Senators Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and Manuel “Mar” Roxas II are aiming to “win big” in the 2010 national elections to foil any attempt to undermine the results of the polls in a narrowly contested race.
This is the reason why the Liberal Party’s campaign strategists continue to reach out to other like-minded political parties to further cement the front-running tandem’s huge but not insurmountable lead in the surveys.
“The threat of cheating and massive failure of elections is still there, it is still not yet in the bag for Senator Noy and Senator Mar. Thus, we continue to plan, study and campaign and of course continue to be vigilant,” said Cavite Rep. Joseph Emilio Aguinaldo Abaya in a text message to the Inquirer.
LP campaign manager Florencio Abad, in a text message, said: “We aim to win in a big way. Part of the reason is to discourage any attempt to cheat or forestall a scheme for a total or partial failure of elections. A trend toward a big win can effectively prevent these schemes.”
Political pundits reckon that if no single candidate emerges with a clear victory in 2010, the results could be the subject of poll protests that could lead to a failure of elections.
Abaya, the LP secretary general, said this was the reason why the party still found it worthy to talk to other political parties for alliances such as the Partido ng Masang Pilipino of former Joseph Estrada who has had several meetings with Aquino.
‘Convincing win’
Abad said that another reason seeking for a “convincing win” was to give Aquino a strong mandate to push reforms in the new administration.
In the latest survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS), 46 percent of the 2,100 respondents interviewed between Dec. 5 and 10 said they would vote for Aquino, way ahead of Sen. Manny Villar (27 percent), Estrada (16 percent), former Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro (5 percent), and Bro. Eddie Villanueva and Sen. Richard Gordon (1 percent each).
The same survey showed Roxas leading the vice presidential derby with 43 percent ahead of Sen. Loren Legarda (32 percent), Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay (10 percent), TV host Eduardo Manzano (3 percent), and former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chair Bayani Fernando (2 percent).
"I am determined to continue the fight started by my father and my mother to see
that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

Guys, it’s just a matter of time. Please don’t doubt for a second. Believe and we shall achieve. Hindi na para sa akin ito kasi matanda na ako. Ito’y para sa inyo dahil bata pa kayo, at sa aking pitong anak.
Huwag kayong bumitiw sa pagkakataong ito ng pagbabago.
Merry Christmas to all. It will be a better Christmas next year I am sure.

@reyna elena Korek ka diyan! XD
To all of our faithful readers and visitors (i.e. Hustisya, lenlen, Engr. Jojo, Jaljr, Dennis Villarta, ruzzano, net, and the others na hindi ka na-mention), nakakatuwang isipin na nakikita ko mula sa inyo ang kayang gawin ng mga Pilipino basta may will. And it’s a very fruitful experience for me, as a member of the youth sector. Ang dami kong natututunan. Makes me want to have more educational discussions with my peers para hindi kami ma-deceive ng mga data na lumalabas kung saan-saan. These past few months had been very educational for me and I witnessed how the Filipinos are starting to wake up from their deep slumber.
All of these made me realize one thing: we are the solution to our own problems. Noynoy is just our instrument. At the end of the day, tayo pa rin ang may boses, and may kapangyarihan. Because the officials get their mandate from us. Wala naman silang magagawa if we do civil disobedience. Kasi they don’t have our mandate. As I said before, I am voting not for Noynoy, but for the 60% who support him. Noynoy can’t solve our problems, but we can. Noynoy is right when he advocated People Power. The People Power he is promoting is not the mass flooding of EDSA, but the active participation of the people in the government.
Another thing. Napansin ko ang pagbuhos ng mga trolls/bots sa site natin. I appeal to all of you not to mind them nor respond to their comments. Because each of us represent our intstrument, Noynoy, and the cause we are fighting for. Sabi dati ni Lala, sometimes it is inevitable not to judge the advocacy by its advocates. And she is right. Kung makita ng mga tao na ang mga Noynoy supporters ay walang pinagkaiba sa iba, ano na lang ang sasabihin ng mga tao, na walang pinagkaiba si Noynoy when in fact, that’s the exact message that we want to deliver.
Whew. And emo ko pla ngayon. MARry CORYsmas and a Happy NOY Year!

@reyna elena may napansin ako. it’s usually the other camps who do dirty work, but not us. Sino ang pinaka-bullied candidate ngayon? Si Noynoy. We supporters don’t to black prop against other candidates.

Dear All, here in the US, a Big Group led by the famous Loida, Nicholas Lewis is doing a lot of hard work from campaigning to fund raising for Noynoy. I’m very optimistic that this group will grow bigger. Ms Lewis was helping Hilary Clinton and then POTUS B Obama.
