Noynoy Aquino supporters get desperate
Pro-Noynoy Aquino supporters certainly know how to make themselves look virtuous. Sometimes they make me feel like I’m such an awful, awful person. I blame it on my Catholic upbringing. Why do they think that if someone says something that will compromise the good standing of Noynoy in the election, he or she is a bully or a pro-GMA supporter? Why is Noynoy’s camp labelling the whole election thing as a fight between “good and evil” anyway? Why can’t it be simply about which camp is right or wrong or has a superior proposition? Why do they call themselves “good” in the first place? Have they considered the fact that not all voters are Catholic or have a religion? Just because Noynoy’s late mother was often seen praying a lot and just because Noynoy seems like a “good” guy doesn’t mean that anybody else who has a different take on Noynoy is already a bad person. So what if the Aquinos are a “prayerful” lot? There are many who simply don’t buy the whole act.
The lack of foresight appears to be something that Kris and Noynoy have acquired from their parents. The behaviour of Kris and the lack of substance in Noynoy’s career is one of the real legacies of Ninoy and Cory. The dysfunctional behaviour of the majority of Filipinos is one of the real legacies of Ninoy and Cory. Unfortunately, being a Noynoy supporter, Mr Mangubat excuses Kris’ behavior and blames Marcos too.
"I am determined to continue the fight started by my father and my mother to see
that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

Awie, i wouldn’t really give this blog anti-pinoy the time of day. I’ve had enough of the Noynoy bashing. While i agree that we are all free to choose who we want to support this coming elections, These anti-pinoys have done nothing but spread hate and negativity towards Sen. Noy and his supporters. They’re of a different breed and i for one don’t mind not reading any of their stuff on this site. Thank you.

To be honest, I don’t read paid write-up critical of Noy.
To be honest again, I initially wanted to attack Noy’s opponents. But I realized later that was just a knee-jerk reaction.
I don’t like now to attack Noy’s opponents because if we keep on hitting them we are no different from the trolls we despise. Why attack and descend to their level? Noynoy and his people at FB should avoid attacking Villar or Gibo. That’s a sign of weakness. The best offense is defense. Noy has a solid core votes already and those will not gravitate to any of his opponents come May. Villar cannot harvest from Noy’s core votes anymore. He has to get additional vote from elsewhere to surpass Noy’s numbers.
I hope this site would be replete with good news about Noy such as announcements, videos, policy statements and balance newspaper/blog commentaries and stories. Let’s keep the level of quality of the post. Let’s not turn this site into something that would not attract readership.

Lumalaban. Iisang direksyon ang tinitingnan. We remain SOLID behind Noynoy. Hindi natitinag. Hindi nag-iiba. Hindi na magbabago.
Ang mga anti-Noynoy hecklers, magaling lang mag-bully. THey will try to set the pace and tone of the debate. They will impose their own rules, definition and self-serving standards. Magaling silang magkunwaring logical and intellectual. Never bite into any of these.
We have our reasons kung bakit natin sinusuportahan si Noynoy. Ito ang ilaban natin sa kanila. We will never go wrong dahil nasa tama tayo anuman ang gawin nila….

Nakaka-flatter naman to think that people can only believe that we get paid good money to write what we write on AntiPinoy.com. Goes to show how small-minded Noynoy supporters are.
That’s not really the question here. The question is, Why specifically do you believe you are on the right side?
So far no convincing answers to that question have been found.
Pinoy nga naman talaga. Keep on guessing.

good morning sa lahat…
the best thing we can do about this anti-noynoy bloggers is to engage them in debates so that they won’t be able to twist the facts that corruption is the evil that surrounds our society now, kaya pati ang mga pilipino ay nagkakahati hati ng paniniwala…
this people in all forums will try so hard para ilihis ang issue, trying to make bad looks good and twist the facts on good things to make it look bad…
and my advocacy there is to touch their inner feelings to see clearly the reasons why our country is suffering now…
and this is all about dirty politicians who sees their own pockets first bago ang mabuting pagsisilbi sa mga pilipinong naghalal sa kanila…
they can brand us with anywords they can think but they can’t make us loose our focus in trying to give reasonable and calm comments that will make them all to look like what they’re branding us…

Is the truth really hurts? It is not actually the words of Pro-Noynoy that hurts but the guilt they felt whenever they hear it . Guilt can be felt only by those who realizes or believes that they have violated a moral standard or sa isang kasamaan and is responsible for that sins .

Here’s my take. For one I don’t think Noynoy supporters are desperate, his followers solidifying at 40% is quite formidable.
But in the same token Noynoy supporters should be realistic enough to wage a bold and substantive campaign where issues are identified and actions/platforms to address these issues are talked about and ventilated. It is tempting to romanticize on the virtures of Ninoy and Cory and link it with Noynoy’s traits and character (poems, songs included), also to fixate on the bad GMA governance and how Noynoy wants to be the exact opposite of GMA. But these are all fleeting and reactionary. Noynoy should wage a substantive and bold campaign where he would equip his followers with his vision and a know-how on how to solve the ills and problems of Philippine society. (Imagine 6 months after Noynoy winning the Presidency, now what? What should his followers do to make his presidency successful? Or will all be disappointed because Noynoy isn’t “delivering us to promised land..?”
And a message to the anti-Noynoy folks. The right “thought process” for someone who truly has a stake in Philippine elections is to identify an alternative candidate. It is not enough to just take an opposite stance with a particular candidate (in this case Noynoy), but also to take an affirmative stance with another candidate, who will also be equally imperfect and vulnerable. So its now the time to campaign hard for your candidate, than campaign against another.
At the end of the day, there is no one candidate that is truly ideal or completely evil, but in reality just a mixed bag of Filipino candidates with varying calibers on competence, qualification, inspiration and character, etc. trying to present himself as the one capable of solving the bigger and bolder problems of the Philippines.
And the end of it all, we are all Team Philippines, carrying the color BROWN campaign color !!!

Sorry guys. I know the writer of this blog and she does not work for Villar or Gibo. She is just doing this because she wants to have a dialogue with pro-Noynoy supporters. Please have an open mind and give yourselves a chance to defend your reasons for choosing Noynoy on their blogsite.

@Stella So,We always defended our reasons kahit saan, kahit sino at kahit kailan We can always face them dahil alam naman natin that our choice is right at pwede nating masabi sarili na “Ito ang dapat ” . In fact, pumapasyal din tayo sa ibang blogsites not only just to defend Noynoy but also to let them know that we beleive that our choice isn’t just the ” Just and Right” but it is the best . Masakit lang minsan because they just don’t insult and mock Noynoy but also to the people who will vote for him however palagi natin silang nasupalpal ..as in.. always supalpal, primarily because we support a candidate behind a very good reasons and most importantly behind a very noble purpose .
Good Day my friend , sana magtagumpay tayo sa malinis nating hangarin.

And when people realize that CORRUPTION is the main issue, lalong nangingibabaw ang pagkakaiba ni Noynoy sa ibang kandidato.

@gian:
“No amount of explaining will be enough for them.”
poor people. you have been fooled into believing that Noynoy is the icon of hope by individuals who used (and still uses) him for their personal ambitions. My mom’s friend is only voting for Noynoy because the one he is going to appoint in SBMA is a good friend of his, and therefore he can do whatever he wants in there. I’m sure Noynoy has real good intentions but I’m also sure that he can be easily swayed by the people that helped him during his campaign. Let’s face it, Noynoy really did not do much during his time in the Government and even on the issue in the Hacienda Luisita. I know he does not own it entirely but he still owns a part of it. If he REALLY wanted to help those who worked on their land he would have done it a long time ago. It was 5 years ago. 5 YEARS!! He said that he would help them once he is elected. I say, why not now or during those years that was wasted? What difference does it make when becomes -and hopefully not- President?
The bottomline is that Noynoy would not steal from the people but I’m sure the ones who are using him will, and he can’t do nothing about it because he owes them a lot. And because of that, I AM NOT VOTING FOR NOYNOY AQUINO. My vote goes to DICK GORDON! Say what you want. In reality, Noynoy doesn’t have any chance on him. Unfortunately, only great minds know that.

@Kristine, I’m sure you are not dumb, deaf and blind to discern the reality of today. The people are sick and tired of the traditional politics of patronage and convenience, of the corruption in all levels of government bureaucracy continued unchecked because it is the higher government officials espousing the culture of impunity.
No amount of galing at talino, sipag at tiyaga, not even the visions and temperament of a Gordon can deliver the Philippines from the brink of the state of failure, if the citizenry cease to trust and lost faith in their government.
The people now are looking for a leader whom they trust, a leader who can inspire and motivate people to restore their trust in the government, a leader who can bring the name of our country out of list of most corruption-laden nation, a leader who can bring back the sense of pride and belongingness of being Filipino, s leader who earned the TRUST and CONFIDENCE of the International Community, the Local and Foreign Investors and most of all the MAJORITY of the Filipino People.
Noynoy was ranked No. 5 of the Reader’s Digest Polls of the Most Trusted Filipino in all Asia, having been featured in an Internationally Acclaimed Magazine, Time Magazine, having been picked by the Local and Foreign Investors to be the Most Trustworthy to be President of the Republic.
At the end of the day, the success and failure of the state depends on the degree of support and cooperation of its Citizens. The TRUST and CONFIDENCE of the majority of the Filipino People on NOYNOY is ONE GOOD AND CONCRETE REASON WHY NOYNOY SHOULD LEAD OUR COUNTRY!

@Engr. Jojo
That survey was conducted by asking people to rate 80 influential Filipino personalities on their trustworthiness. It (the article) did not mention how many respondents took part in that survey. Do you know anybody that was asked in that particular survey?
When did we notice Noynoy? Right after her mother died, right? If Cory did not die, do you think people will notice Noynoy? The Filipinos’ icon of democracy died and now that she’s gone, people wanted someone that can take her place. In comes Noynoy. Some people made him their icon of hope. Why? Because he is the son of Ninoy and Cory. Please stop comparing him to Ninoy, just because he is his father doesn’t mean that he can do what he did. Noynoy even admitted that he never wanted to run for presidency but he said that the people made him run. I say, yes, the people who wants to use him for their personal ambitions made him run. How can I trust him if he himself cannot realize that he is being used by others or maybe he knows it and just chose to ride along with it.
I DO NOT NEED a so-called icon of hope. I need a MAN OF ACTION —-> DICK GORDON!!
Oh, and one last thing. On the survey that you stated, Rosa Rosal was in the #1 position and who does Rosa Rosal trust? DICK GORDON! I’ll give the link to that video.

@Engr. Jojo
You said that “At the end of the day, the success and failure of the state depends on the degree of support and cooperation of its Citizens.” We, here in Olongapo and Subic Bay, are successful because GORDON and the people in here made it happen. If he wasn’t a great leader, Subic Bay and Olongapo would have never been this successful. He never promised anything to us, he just did what he can to serve the people and make Olongapo and Subic Bay what it is today.
