Noynoy: ‘No point in competing with my parents’ (Q&A)

SEN. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s strength—the legacy of his parents—is also his weakness. Blessed with sudden popularity reflected in the presidential surveys, he has become the favorite punching bag of every presidential wannabe.
Aquino enjoys a 60 percent rating in the most recent nationwide survey of the Social Weather Stations on presidential aspirants, up from 50 per cent in a previous SWS survey in Luzon.
Thrust into the presidential race without the usual preparation of a serious contender, the only son of martyred senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and revered former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino has been the object of political innuendoes from rivals who question his readiness to be president. Does the younger Aquino have what it takes to duplicate, if not surpass, the track record and greatness of his parents?
"I am determined to continue the fight started by my father and my mother to see
that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

You are welcome Lenlen, this is the same line and exact words from the Probe Profile Video last Wednesday night. By the way this is my most favourite line:
Q: What kind of president will you be?
A: Somebody who would be missed the day after he steps down. Yung, perhaps ano, somebody who’ll be so boring dahil everything works na, finally.

This is the craziest commercial I have ever seen.
No substance, just pure showbiz!
come to think of it…
I will not be swayed by famous endorsers. I will, instead, intelligently look at track record and a proven ability.
We all deserve a better tomorrow – and the young have the biggest stake in that.

I will be swayed by famous endorsers, especially if they did so for free, voluntarily, spontaneously, sacrificing not only their talent fee for the commercial, but more so the talent fee of would be clients from the other camps. I will be swayed by famous endorsers especially if their endorsement is one that comes from their hearts and souls such as this one.

Who among the presidentiables can give us better tomorrow?
For me Noynoy is the one. He is not the tuta of our corrupt president,he is not under the foot of Danding,He dont have record of double insertion,He is very opposite from the actor turn convict.Throughout his political career he dont abuse his position or use for personal gain.He is the one who can give the youth better future. His honesty, simplicity and integrity are the main reason why millions of Filipinos want him to be the next president.
