Gordon to Aquino: Neither Facebook nor your face matters

MANILA, Philippines – “It is not Facebook that matters here, it is not your face that matters,” a senator on Wednesday told presidential bet, Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.
Senator Richard Gordon, another contender in the 2010 presidential race, issued the statement in an apparent response to the groundswell of support for Aquino even in the popular social networking site, Facebook.
“How many more chances do you want? Ano ang kakayahan ni Noynoy Aquino sa local government? Hindi pa siya nasubukan ni sa barangay captain. Even in legislature, ano ang batas na nagawa niya na nararamdaman na ng taong-bayan [What is Noynoy Aquino’s capability in running a local government. He has not even tried being a barangay (village) captain. Even in legislature, what law has he passed that the people have felt]?” Gordon said in a statement.
“You have had in your family a president, a vice president, four senators, congressmen, governors, lahat ng pwesto sa [all of the positions in] Tarlac, pero [but] how is Tarlac?” he asked.
"I am determined to continue the fight started by my father and my mother to see
that democracy takes root and is strengthened in our country. This cannot happen
in a government that serves the interest of the powerful few. We must strengthen
the institutions of government so that they truly serve the interests of our people."

So what is to gain by doing this, Sen. Gordon? Sayang, I respect him naman coz in fairness may kakayahan naman siya mamuno but with such statement…haay..he talks of leadership skills and preparedness but he forgot that one of the required qualities of a good leader is respect for other people…
Respeto, Sen. Gordon, you don’t have an ounce of it. That’s why you will NEVER be president.

15 mins after the statement was emailed to journalists, Gordon’s staff sent another message withdrawing the press release, saying “a mistake” was made “in posting the message.”

Tanungin mo ang iyong sarili Sen. Gordon. What Noynoy have`s that you dont have. Sabi mo hindi pa si Noynoy nasubukan ni sa barangay captain.Desperate ka yata dahil akala mo mas marunong ka ni Noynoy,pero bakit siya pa rin ang gusto ng taong bayan? Ang taong bayan mas marunong ki sa iyo kaya si Noynoy ang gusto nila.Si Noynoy ang gusto ko dahil hanggang ngayon hindi pa siya nasangkot sa corruption cases as president`s son until now as ligislator.Ilang taon kana sa politics ilang basis na nasangkot ang iyong pangalan sa dumi?Kung mi project kang nagawa ipinagyabang mo,ipinagbandila mo kung tutuosin tungkulin mo yan kaya ka tumanggap ng sahod.Ngayon galit ka na si Noynoy ang gusto ng karamihan ng taong bayan.Why not accept the truth now,perhaps not the right time for you.

Yes Noynoy might not have been implicated in corruption charges but he can potentially be corruptible because he has no experience. I admire Sen. Gordon’s being straightforward in order for us voters not to be deceived by the promises and false hopes created by those not fit for the presidency.

This is the character of Gordon,a person with no etiquette . In tagalog , Gordon is eskandaloso with squatter mentality . From the past , he was engage in a war with Erap because he has to be replaced for his term had expired . Gordon resorted in a self created scenario as if he is in a war , he cried ,shouting ,running all over with flag on him and agitating every volunteers for a revolution . He wanted to rule SBMA for a lifetime .
He also challenge a senator for Fist fight .
If this person becomes President , there will be no other person that can take the presidency away from him . SBMA chairmanship lang ayaw bitawan ,Presidency pa kaya .
