Kahit yung mga “REDS”, let us accept them to our fold. Whether you guys will agree with me or not, most of the issues they are fighting for are quite nationalistic and simply sensible like their stand on CHA-CHA, VFA, monopolies, globalization, imperialism and social justice. I should admit that my political awakening started during the first quarter storm when I marched and attended political teach-ins with the so called “REDS” and even up to now I still maintain my high respect to Ka Lando Olalia, Edgar Jopson, Francis Santillan, etc.

Guys, if we will not accept one just on the basis of he is not acceptable to the other, baka maging 4% na lang ang 44% ni Noynoy. We will win if only we learn one basic principle in Philippine Politics —LET US GIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT TO OTHERS FREELY AND GENEROUSLY.

Si Binay, Locsin, Joker,Ermita, Atienza and Pimentel were Cory’s men, but look now where they are.

Drillon used to be with KBL, pero nakita naman ninyo how loyal to Cory he has become. Yung mga original cory men, nag-iiba na ng kulay but he is still here with us come hell and GMA reign.

Indeed, one of SB’s achievements was to improve tax collection thus resulting in a surplus sa local government budget. Yan ang lagi niyang pinag-mamayabang. Pero if you think about it, trabaho naman ng bawat mayor yan. It is what we should expect from our leaders. Granted for the sake of argument that he has done his job well, it still doesn’t give him the right to steal. Sorry, may experience kasi kami kay SB. Kurakot din which is why since then, i don’t buy it when people say “I am rich therefore will not steal.” SB is flithy rich and has enough wealth to last him and his family several lifetimes. Yet, he steals. Very,very sad.

I don’t like Belmonte. He is corrupt but is very good at hiding it. Tumataggap din yan ng SOP. Also, what business does his daughter have running for Vice Mayor of QC? Dahil tapos na si SB, anak naman. Style lang din ni Binay. Wala na ang ama, anak naman ang papalit. It runs counter to the ideals of democracy. Keeping it all in the family ika nga.

Remember, SB was a staunch GMA supporter. May narinig ba tayo sa kanya amidst all the controversy in the present admin? I don’t care if he was a Cory supporter. He is corrupt and does not represent anything Cory or Ninoy did. Sorry, just keeping it real.

@Regina, ok naman kasi naging performance ni belmonte sa QC, so for me, it’s a plus factor for LP. i have reservations for recto though.

I have no problems with Bistek and Belmonte. They turned QC upside down. Minana ni Belmonte ang gabundok na utang ng QC nung nanalo siyang mayor. Ngayon, nabayaran na nila ang utang at may surplus pa sa budget ng QC. Kaya tuloy ang daming gustong kumandidato na mayor sa QC. Hello Mike Defensor!

@Dennis, some old Cory friends might be acceptable, but RECTO, a BIG NO!!! Yes Recto may be a good economist but clearly he is UNPRINCIPLED. He is like a cowardly BAT who do not show his real self whether he is an animal or a bird. He’s a band wagon opportunist waiting on the sidelines watching which party is sure of winning and then and only then that he’ll decide to join the party which he see on the upperhand. Take a lesson in the 2007 senatorial election, he was reserved a slot in the GO Senate slate together with Joker Arroyo and Francis Pangilinan, but Joker and Recto opted to lick the ass of GMA and join GMA’s Team Unity.

We Visayans want Serge Osmeña back in the LP and reject Recto otherwise LP will lost big portion of Visayan Votes. It is now a choice between Batangas and Visayan Votes. I Hope Noynoy and LP Leadership shall consider their decision. Se don’t need a Vilma or Recto anyway.

The Belmontes and Bautista maybe acceptable but definitely not Recto. Hindi nga siya nanalo noong 2007, ngayon pa?

I have the same sentiment with Osmena also , but , I believe it still can be ironed out,primarily because of a much deeper relation of Serge with the Aquinos.
Serge has to face the reality,that there were Cory’s people now that has already been with different party, including the Admin party and the aquinos cannot do something about it,but for me, what is important , that ,they defect from the party they now belong and throw their support to their old friend ,the Aquino Family . What is also important , that , the people who will join Noynoy are not dirty for the party to be consistent of their objective to clean this country
